WAKE UP DEAD MAN

Wake Up Dead Man [a] is a 2025 American mystery film written and directed by Rian Johnson. It is a standalone sequel to Glass Onion (2022) and the third installment overall in the Knives Out film series. It stars Daniel Craig, who reprises his role as master detective Benoit Blanc.[2][3] The ensemble cast also includes Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.

Eternity is a 2025 American fantasy romantic comedy film directed by David Freyne, who co-wrote the movie with Pat Cunnane. Its plot follows a woman who must choose between two men with whom to spend eternity in the afterlife.

ZOOTOPIA 2

Zootopia 2[b] is a 2025 American animated buddy cop comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The sequel to Zootopia (2016), Jared Bush and Byron Howard direct it,[2] written by Bush, and produced by Yvett Merino.[3] Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, and Shakira reprise their roles from the first film, joined by newcomers Ke Huy Quan, Fortune Feimster, Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Patrick Warburton, and Quinta Brunson. It follows Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, the previous film’s protagonists, who go undercover to pursue Zootopia’s new and mysterious reptilian resident, Gary De’Snake.

Zootopia 2 premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on November 13, 2025, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 26.

Plot

Sometime after the events of the first movie, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde have become partners in the ZPD, but their clashing personalities make them an incompatible pairing. After botching a smuggling ring, Chief Bogo threatens to separate them unless they attend a therapy session managed by quokka Dr. Fuzzby. Judy soon thinks that there might be a snake in Zootopia since, during the smuggling job, she found a shredded piece of snakeskin, and some clues dictate that the snake might be at the annual Zootennial Gala, celebrating 100 years since the city’s founding, which is being hosted by a family of lynxes who are descendants of Zootopia’s founder, Ebeneezer Lynxley.

Judy convinces Nick to attend the Gala with her to see if the snake will be there. At the gala, Judy befriends the youngest of the Lynxley family, the awkward Pawbert. Soon, Nick notices a hooded figure on a chandelier and accidentally knocks it down, and the figure emerges to reveal a pit viper. As everyone panics, the viper kidnaps the Lynxley patriarch and Pawbert’s father, Milton, and takes an old journal detailing the creation of the weather walls that was supposed to go on display. Judy catches up with the viper, who convinces her that snakes aren’t bad animals and the journal contains the proof he needs. As Judy begins having second thoughts, Nick arrives and knocks the viper unconscious with a frying pan.

HAMNET

Hamnet is a 2025 historical drama film co-edited and directed by Chloé Zhao, who co-wrote the screenplay with Maggie O’Farrell, based on O’Farrell’s 2020 novel of the same name. The film follows the relationship between Agnes and William Shakespeare, and the impact of the tragic death of their 11-year-old son Hamnet on their lives, leading to the creation of William’s play Hamlet. It stars Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal as Agnes and William, respectively, alongside Emily Watson, Bodhi Rae Breathnach, and Joe Alwyn in supporting roles.

Hamnet had its premiere at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival on 29 August 2025 and will receive a limited theatrical release by Focus Features in the United States on 26 November, a wide theatrical release on 12 December, and a release by Universal Pictures in the United Kingdom on 9 January 2026.

Plot

The film follows William Shakespeare (Mescal) and his wife, Agnes (Buckley), as their son, Hamnet, dies at a young age, inspiring Shakespeare to write Hamlet.[2]

WICKED: FOR GOOD

Wicked: For Good (also known as Wicked: Part Two [c]) is a 2025 American musical fantasy film directed by Jon M. Chu and written by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox. The sequel to Wicked (2024), it adapts the second act of the 2003 stage musical by Stephen Schwartz and Holzman, which was loosely based on Gregory Maguire‘s 1995 novel, a reimagining of L. Frank Baum’s 1900 novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and its 1939 film adaptation. Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande,[b] Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Marissa Bode, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles.[6] Set in the Land of Oz before and during the events of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, the plot follows the relationship between Elphaba and Glinda as they come to terms with their new identities as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

Universal Pictures and Marc Platt, who both produced the stage musical, announced the film adaptation in 2012. After a long development and multiple delays, partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chu was hired to direct, with Erivo and Grande cast in 2021. The adaptation was split into two parts to avoid omitting plot points and further develop the characters. Principal photography on both films began in December 2022 in England, was interrupted in July 2023 by the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, and resumed and concluded in January 2024.

Wicked: For Good premiered at the Suhai Music Hall in São Paulo, Brazil, on November 4, 2025, and is scheduled for release in the United States on November 21.[7]

Years after the events of Wicked (2024), Elphaba Thropp, now known as the Wicked Witch of the West, continues her fight for animal rights while living as a fugitive. Meanwhile, Glinda Upland, now recognized as Glinda the Good, is a public figure watched over by the Wizard and Madame Morrible. As they face the consequences of their actions, their relationship is put to the test by a series of events—including the surprising arrival of Dorothy Gale from Kansas—that will change the Land of Oz forever.[8]

RENTAL FAMILY

Rental Family is a 2025 comedy-drama film directed by Hikari, who co-wrote the script with Stephen Blahut. The film stars Brendan Fraser, Takehiro Hira, Mari Yamamoto, Shannon Mahina Gorman, and Akira Emoto.

An international co-production between the United States and Japan, the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2025, and is scheduled for release in the United States by Searchlight Pictures on November 21, 2025.

SISU: ROAD TO REVENGE

Sisu: Road to Revenge (Finnish: Sisu 2; stylized as SI2U) is a 2025 war action film written and directed by Jalmari Helander. It is the sequel to Sisu (2022). Jorma Tommila reprises his role as Aatami Korpi, with Stephen Lang and Richard Brake joining the cast.[6]

It is produced by Petri Jokiranta and Mike Goodridge for Subzero Film Entertainment and Good Chaos, respectively, with Eric Charles overseeing for Sony’s Stage 6 Films. [7] Unlike the previous film, which was set in Lapland, filming for this one took place in Estonia.[6][8]

Sisu: Road to Revenge premiered at the Fantastic Fest on September 21, 2025.[9] It was released in Finland on October 22 by SF Film Finland and in the United States on November 21 by Screen Gems, a division of Sony Pictures Releasing.[10][11][7] Like its predecessor, the film has received a positive reception from critics.[12]

Premise

After returning in 1946 to Soviet-occupied Karelia, where his family was brutally murdered during World War II, Aatami Korpi, “the man who refuses to die,” dismantles his old family house, loads it on a truck, and is determined to rebuild it somewhere safe in their honor. When the Red Army discovers Korpi’s arrival on their soil, Igor Draganov, the man who killed his family, comes back hellbent on finishing the job: kill the legendary ex-soldier by any means necessary.[6][13]

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is an American heist film directed by Ruben Fleischer from a screenplay by Michael Lesslie, the writing duo of Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, and Seth Grahame-Smith, based on a story by Eric Warren Singer and Lesslie.[2] The film is the sequel to Now You See Me 2 (2016) and the third installment in the Now You See Me film series. The cast includes returning actors Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, and Morgan Freeman, alongside new cast members Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt, and Rosamund Pike.

JAY KELLY

Jay Kelly is a 2025 comedy-drama film directed by Noah Baumbach and written by Baumbach and Emily Mortimer. The film stars an ensemble cast that includes George Clooney, Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, and Billy Crudup. It follows a friendship between a famous actor (Clooney) and his manager (Sandler) as they travel through Europe and reflect on their life choices, relationships, and legacies.[2]

The film had its world premiere in the main competition of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on August 28, 2025, where it was nominated for the Golden Lion.[3] It will then be released in select theaters on November 14, 2025, followed by its global release on Netflix on December 5.

Plot

Jay Kelly, a well-known actor, finishes a scene where his character dies beside a dog. The animal comes in too early, and he snaps at it. The take ends. Crew members reset equipment while his manager, Ron, and publicist, Liz, hover nearby. They keep him calm and keep things moving, the way they always do.

He wants to spend a few quiet days with his youngest daughter, Daisy, before she leaves for Europe and starts college. He imagines a trip together. She has no interest. She wants to go off with her friends. The space between them has been growing for years, and neither of them knows how to close it.

News arrives that Peter Schneider, the director who once took a chance on Jay, has died. The guilt comes fast. A few months earlier, Schneider had asked Jay to attach his name to a new film to help get financing. Jay refused. The man’s career had been sliding, and Jay knows the rejection hurt him.

At the funeral, Schneider’s son talks about how hard the last few years had been. When the service ends, Jay runs into his old acting-school roommate, Tim, now a child psychologist. Ron tells him to skip the reunion, but Jay joins Tim for a drink. They start with stories from the old days. The mood turns sharp. Tim brings up the girlfriend Jay dated after him and the role that made Jay famous. He says Jay stole both. Words turn into a shove, and then a fight.

Jay leaves the bar bruised and angry. The next morning he drops out of his upcoming film with the Lewis Brothers and books a flight to Europe. Ron warns him that walking away could wreck what’s left of his career. Jay doesn’t care. He tells Ron they’ll call the trip a Dior appearance followed by an award ceremony in Tuscany.

Jay’s assistant tracks Daisy by checking one of her friend’s card transactions. By the time Jay and his team reach Paris, she’s already on a train out of the city. They follow. Onboard, Jay relaxes for the first time in months. People recognize him but treat him like one of them. He jokes, takes pictures, and invites a few to his tribute event. Then word spreads online that Tim is suing him for assault.

He finally finds Daisy in the dining car. The reunion lasts minutes. She figures out he used her friend’s card trail to find her. She’s furious. She and her friends walk off, leaving him with a bottle of sparkling water and a crowd pretending not to stare.

Ron and Liz sit a few cars away. They talk about the years they’ve spent managing Jay. They used to be together; now their lives revolve around his problems. Ron still resents the night she left him at the Eiffel Tower. Liz admits she’s missing time with her own daughter. Neither of them knows what they’re still doing there.

When a thief grabs an old woman’s handbag, Jay runs after him and gets it back. Someone films the chase. By the time they reach Tuscany, the clip has gone viral, and he’s being called a hero. Ron suggests inviting Jay’s father to join them. Jay agrees, thinking maybe that’s something he can still fix.

In Tuscany, the crowds are friendly and the wine flows. Ron leaves to meet another client, Ben Alcock, who fires him on the spot. Ron calls home, hoping for comfort, but the talk is stiff and short. Back at the party, Jay barely notices he’s gone. Later, Ron tells him Tim dropped the lawsuit after lawyers uncovered an old charge in Tim’s record.

Jay’s father arrives looking tired. Not long after, he has a dizzy spell and says he wants to go back to Maine. Jay pleads with him to stay, but the taxi drives off. Jay runs after it until it disappears around the corner.

He stands there for a long time. Then he calls his older daughter, Jessica, and asks her to visit. She refuses. She reminds him of the day she brought him to therapy, when the counselor read a letter she had written about missing him. He walked out before she finished.

Later, dressed in white, Jay kneels alone in a grove of trees. Ron’s cab pulls away. Jay runs after it and begs him to come to the tribute. Ron agrees but tells him their work together is over. Jay finally understands that he’s spent years confusing paid loyalty with love. At the tribute, facing the cameras, he pauses and says quietly, “Another shot.”

NUREMBERG

Nuremberg is a 2025 American historical drama film written, co-produced, and directed by James Vanderbilt. It is based on the 2013 book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist by Jack El-Hai. In Nuremberg, psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek) is challenged with determining if Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe) is fit to stand trial at the Nuremberg trials. Leo Woodall, John Slattery, Mark O’Brien, Colin Hanks, Wrenn Schmidt, Lydia Peckham, Richard E. Grant, and Michael Shannon have supporting roles in the film.

The film’s world premiere was in the Gala Presentations section of the Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, on September 7, 2025,[2] where it received a four-minute standing ovation, one of TIFF’s longest standing ovations ever.[3] It was released in the United States and Canada by Sony Pictures Classics on November 7, 2025.

Sarah’s Oil is a 2025 American biographical drama film regarding Sarah Rector, being directed, co-produced, and co-written by Cyrus Nowrasteh. It is inspired by the 2014 book Searching for Sarah Rector: The Richest Black Girl in America by Tonya Bolden.[2] It stars Zachary Levi, Naya Desir-Johnson, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Garret Dillahunt.

Grand Prix of Europe is a 2025 animated sports comedy film directed by Waldemar Fast, created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the German theme park Europa-Park, and it stars the park’s mascots Ed Euromaus and Edda Euromausi. Plot

Edda is a young female mouse with a talent for racing who works at her family amusement park on the outskirts of Paris and dreams of racing in the Grand Prix of Europe. Her particular hero is racing legend Ed, a male mouse who has won the Grand Prix four times. However, following her mother’s death, the park is struggling, and her father, a retired Grand Prix champion, has taken loans from shady characters who will possess the park if the loans are not repaid in a week. In an attempt to raise money, Edda heads to Paris for the initial race of the Grand Prix, handing out fliers advertising her family’s amusement park to the crowds. However, she finds herself backstage and happens to come across Ed’s racing car, and cannot resist the urge to drive it. Ed catches her in the act and leaps onto the car, just as it speeds through the streets of Paris. Edda crashes the car in a mound of dirt, injuring Ed’s shoulder. Since injury would mean disqualification, a frustrated Ed ultimately agrees to Edda’s plan, in which she secretly takes his place, in return for half the winnings to allow her father to pay off the park’s loans. Ed disguises Edda as a superfan who has won a contest to accompany him to the Grand Prix.

PREDATOR: BADLANDS

Predator: Badlands is a 2025 American science fiction action film directed by Dan Trachtenberg. It is the sixth live-action film, seventh overall film, and ninth installment in the Predator franchise. The film stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi.

Predator: Badlands had its world premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre on November 3, 2025, and was theatrically released in the United States by 20th Century Studios on November 7, 2025. The film received positive reviews from critics.

Plot

Dek is a runt Predator from the planet Yautja Prime. He seeks to prove himself as a hunter for the Yautja Clan in order to earn the approval of his father, Njhorr. With his brother Kwei’s help, Dek plans to hunt the Kalisk, an unkillable apex predator, on the lethal planet Genna. Before he can leave, Dek learns that Njhorr has ordered Kwei to kill him, deeming him too weak to survive. Kwei defies the order and is executed, but activates a transport to send Dek to Genna before his death.

Upon crash-landing on Genna, Dek faces numerous environmental dangers. He reluctantly allies with Thia, a damaged Weyland-Yutani Corporation synthetic, who offers to help him track the Kalisk. Thia explains that she was previously injured by the Kalisk and can guide Dek. They are joined by a native creature named “Bud,” which marks Dek with its spit. Meanwhile, Thia’s synthetic sister, Tessa, is reactivated and begins tracking Dek’s group.

BAAHUBALI: THE EPIC

Baahubali: The Epic is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language epic action film directed and co-edited by S. S. Rajamouli. It is a re-edited and remastered single-film version of Rajamouli’s earlier two-part saga, Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), combining footage from both films with technical enhancements and previously unseen scenes. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works, the film stars Prabhas in a triple role, alongside Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, Nassar, and Subbaraju.

The film follows Sivudu, a young warrior raised in a tribal village, who learns of his royal heritage and aims to liberate the kingdom of Mahishmati from its oppressive ruler. His journey involves conflicts, alliances, and revelations about the kingdom’s past. With a runtime of 224 minutes, it is one of the longest Indian films. Baahubali: The Epic is scheduled for a pre-release in select theaters in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland on 29 October 2025, followed by a worldwide theatrical release in premium large formats on 31 October 2025.[1][2]

Plot

An elderly woman emerges from a cave underneath a mountain, carrying an infant. While trying to cross a raging river, she is swept away by the current. She holds the baby above the water, praying to Lord Shiva to save him for Mahishmati’s future. The Amburi tribe saves the child, and their chieftain’s wife, Sanga, adopts him, naming him Sivudu.

Sivudu grows up ambitious and curious, obsessed with climbing the mountain despite his mother’s pleas, but fails each time. As a young man, he shows great strength while moving a lingam of Lord Shiva to the foot of the mountain. A mask falls from above. Learning that the mask belongs to a woman, Sivudu decides to find her and climbs the mountain successfully. Upon reaching the top, he meets Avanthika, the mask’s owner, and follows her. He learns she belongs to a resistance group working to overthrow Mahishmati’s tyrannical king, Bhallaladeva, and free the imprisoned princess Devasena.

Sivudu, taken with Avanthika, joins her cause and infiltrates Mahishmati’s palace as a guard. He distracts Bhallaladeva and rescues Devasena. Bhallaladeva sends his son, Bhadrudu, and his general, Kattappa, to pursue Sivudu. In the fight, Sivudu kills Bhadrudu as the Amburi and resistance members join him. Kattappa, seeing Sivudu’s face, submits and calls him “Baahubali.” Kattappa reveals that Sivudu is Mahendra Baahubali, son of Amarendra Baahubali, a noted warrior prince of Mahishmati, and that Queen Sivagami, his grandmother, saved him.

BUGONIA

Bugonia is a 2025 absurdist black comedy film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. It is an English-language remake of the 2003 South Korean film Save the Green Planet! by Jang Joon-hwan. A co-production of Ireland, South Korea, and the United States, the film stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone. It follows two young men who kidnap a powerful CEO, suspecting that she is secretly an alien who wants to destroy Earth.

Development on the film began as early as 2020, with Jang attached to direct and Tracy adapting the screenplay. Ari Aster came on board as producer soon after, and by February 2024, Lanthimos was hired to direct, replacing Jang, while Stone joined the project both as an actress and producer. Plemons joined the cast that May, and it was soon acquired by Focus Features for distribution at the Cannes Film Festival. Principal photography began in July in High Wycombe, England, and Atlanta, Georgia, during which time, the rest of the cast was announced. Additional filming took place in May 2025 in Milos, Greece.

Bugonia had its world premiere in the main competition of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on August 28, 2025, and is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States by Focus Features on October 24, 2025.

SPRINGSTEEN: DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere is a 2025 American biographical musical drama film starring Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen. Written and directed by Scott Cooper, and based on the 2023 book Deliver Me from Nowhere by Warren Zanes, it chronicles the conception of Springsteen’s 1982 album Nebraska. The film also stars Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, Gaby Hoffmann, Marc Maron and David Krumholtz.

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere had its world premiere at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival on August 29, 2025, with its United States theatrical release by 20th Century Studios set for two months later on October 24. The film received positive reviews from critics.

Plot

The film chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 album Nebraska when he was a young musician on the cusp of global superstardom, struggling to reconcile the pressures of success with the ghosts of his past. Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works—a stark, somber acoustic record portraying the lives of blue-collar workers who try to succeed in life but fail at every turn, while searching for a deliverance that never comes.

BLUE MOON

Blue Moon is a 2025 American biographical comedy-drama film directed by Richard Linklater and written by Robert Kaplow. The film follows songwriter Lorenz Hart (Ethan Hawke) as he reflects on himself on the opening night of Oklahoma!, a new musical by his former colleague Richard Rodgers (Andrew Scott). It also stars Margaret Qualley, Bobby Cannavale, and Jonah Lees.

The film had its world premiere at the main competition of the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, on February 18, 2025, where it won the Silver Bear for Best Supporting Performance for Scott.[4] It was theatrically released in the United States by Sony Pictures Classics on October 17.

Plot

Largely set on March 31, 1943, the opening night of Rodgers and Hammerstein‘s Oklahoma!, Richard Rodgers‘s former creative partner Lorenz Hart struggles with alcoholism and depression.[5] Most of the plot takes place at the bar of the New York Theater District restaurant Sardi’s. Slipping out of Oklahoma!’s opening night, the semi-closeted Hart arrives at Sardi’s ahead of the afterparty to get drunk and complain about his former creative partner’s new hit musical. The barman lends an ear while trying not to serve Hart liquor.[6]

GOOD FORTUNE

Good Fortune is a 2025 American supernatural comedy film written and directed by Aziz Ansari in his feature directorial debut.[2] Seth Rogen, Ansari, Keke Palmer, Sandra Oh, and Keanu Reeves star in the film. Garam Films, Oh Brudder Productions, and Yang Pictures produced it. It follows an angel named Gabriel (Reeves), whose failed attempt to show Arj (Ansari), a struggling man, that money doesn’t solve one’s problems—by body swapping him with his wealthy employer Jeff (Rogen)—results in Gabriel losing his wings, while the work he did as an angel begins to unravel around them.

After the suspension of his original directorial debut, Being Mortal, at Searchlight Pictures in 2022, Ansari moved forward with plans to direct Good Fortune. He desired to make a comedy film with the intent for it to be theatrically released, citing the success of Barbie (2023) as proof of the viability of such a project. Ansari’s longtime friend Rogen, who inspired the implementation of several elements into the film, joined shortly after Being Mortal was shelved.

The film was set to begin principal photography in May 2023, but due to a production shutdown in the middle of the month due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike, filming started in late January 2024 in Los Angeles, when Palmer announced she had joined the cast. The majority of filming wrapped before April 2024, with some scenes picked up at a later date after an injury Reeves sustained two weeks into filming had healed.

Good Fortune premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2025, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 17, 2025. The film received positive reviews from critics.

Premise

Gabriel (Keanu Reeves) is a “budget guardian angel.” One day, he notices Arj, a man down on his luck (Aziz Ansari), who does odd jobs for a wealthy socialite named Jeff (Seth Rogen). Once Arj falls asleep in a booth at a Denny’s restaurant, he hits rock bottom after having his car towed from the restaurant’s parking lot. Intervening in his plight, Gabriel tries to convince Arj that being wealthy like Jeff would not solve his problems by swapping the two men’s lives. Failing at this demonstration, as Jeff’s wealth solves Arj’s issues, Gabriel loses his wings and is sent down to Earth to live among humans, while Arj takes over Jeff’s body and livelihood.[4] Gabriel then becomes roommates with the displaced Jeff,[3] as the work he did as an angel begins to unravel around them.[4]

  • Keanu Reeves as Gabriel, an angel. He tries to regain his wings after a plan to show a struggling man that wealth cannot solve one’s problems goes haywire, resulting in the man taking over his affluent employer’s life.[4] Typically, Gabriel is responsible for saving people from choking or stopping them from texting while driving, but he tries to show the man that the life of wealth is “not all that it’s cracked up to be.”[4]

Sherry Cola plays a character who wants to sit on Gabriel’s face, finding him attractive.[9] A shaman called Nana appears, holding a ceremony involving ayahuasca.[10] Stephen McKinley Henderson has a supporting role.[11]

AFTER THE HUNT

After the Hunt is a 2025 psychological thriller film directed by Luca Guadagnino and written by Nora Garrett, starring Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri, Andrew Garfield, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Chloë Sevigny. Truth & Treason is an upcoming American drama film and television series based on the true story of Helmuth Hübener, a teenage resistance fighter who opposed the Nazi regime in Germany during WWII.[2][3] The film was previously titled Truth & Conviction.

Roofman is a 2025 American crime comedy film starring Channing Tatum as the real-life spree robber Jeffrey Manchester. Derek Cianfrance directs it. The film is a biopic of the fugitive Jeffrey Manchester, a former United States Army Reserve non-commissioned officer, known colloquially as Roofman due to his propensity to steal from branches of McDonald’s after entering their premises via the roof. Most notably, after escaping prison by hiding underneath a prison bus, he evaded capture by police by hiding in the wall of a vacant Circuit City store that was located next to a then-active Toys “R” Us store.[2]

TRON: ARES

Tron: Ares (stylized as TRON: Ares) is an upcoming American science fiction action film that is the third installment in the Tron series and the sequel to Tron: Legacy (2010). Filming ultimately started in January 2024 in Vancouver and wrapped in May. By August, industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails was composing the score. PARTY OF A SHOWGIRL

Taylor Swift on Friday announced a new theater event, “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,” set to hit theaters Oct. 3 in coordination with the release of her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which is due out the same day.

According to Variety, the 89-minute event will be shown in each of AMC’s 540 theaters, with non-AMC theaters also screening the event.

Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie is a 2025 American musical fantasy comedy film based on the Netflix series “Gabby’s Dollhouse,” created by Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey, both of whom serve as executive producers. Produced by DreamWorks Animation, the film was directed by Ryan Crego and written by Crego, Adam Wilson, and Melanie Wilson LaBracio. Combining live-action and animation, it stars Laila Lockhart Kraner, who reprises her role from the series with Thomas Lennon, Jason Mantzoukas, Ego Nwodim, Kyle Mooney, Melissa Villaseñor, Fortune Feimster, Gloria Estefan, and Kristen Wiig joining the cast. DreamWorks Animation announced a feature-length film based on Gabby’s Dollhouse in April 2024, with Crego and Steven Schweickart attached as director and producer, respectively. It was also announced that same month that Kraner set to reprise her role as Gabby. Filming began in July 2024 in Vancouver, British Columbia, with further casting running from February to May 2025. It will be the second live-action DreamWorks Animation film, following the 2025 remake of How to Train Your Dragon (2010), as well as DreamWorks Animation’s first live-action film that is not a remake.

Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie premiered in Melbourne on September 13, 2025, and is scheduled to be released by Universal Pictures in the United States on September 26, 2025.
