Release date for Mermaid (2026)

The action comedy film is widely circulated by Utopia.

Cast details explored

  • Johnny Pemberton as Doug: He’s our main guy, a total trainwreck of an addict who gets canned from cleaning strip club fish tanks, then literally fishes a mermaid out of the Gulf.
  • Julia Valentine Larson as Destiny: The injured mermaid herself. Doug hides her in his bathtub, making her his weirdly scaled shot at redemption.
  • Robert Patrick as Ron Bocca: Bringing his usual terrifying intensity, he’s the main villain scheming to steal the creature.
  • Devyn McDowell as Layla: Doug’s young daughter. She’s pretty much the sole emotional anchor in his mess of a life.
  • Kevin Nealon as Keith: One of the quirky locals pulled into the madness.
  • Tom Arnold as Todd: Just pure, loud, chaotic energy. He fits this grungy universe so perfectly.
  • Kirk Fox as Skip: The deadpan, sketchy guy sniffing around once rumors inevitably leak out.
  • Kevin Dunn as Keith: Yes, a second Keith. The movie’s weird like that.
  • Avery Potemri as TBD: Rounding out the gritty, oddball underbelly.
  • Tyler Cornack as TBD: The director couldn’t resist a quick on-screen cameo.
