The Eras Tour is the ongoing sixth concert tour by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, who described it as a journey through all of her musical “eras“.[1] An homage to her albums, the Eras Tour is her most expansive tour yet, with 146 dates across five continents.[2] It is her second all-stadium tour after the 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour.

Anatomy of a Fall had its world premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on 21 May 2023, where it won the Palme d’Or and the Palm Dog Award and competed for the Queer Palm.

Sandra, a German writer, is arrested for murder in France following her husband’s death in the snow under mysterious circumstances. Having the couple’s 11-year-old, blind son as the only witness of her husband’s death, Sandra tries to prove her innocence during the trial.

KISS ME KOSHER (2020)

Kiss Me Kosher (alternate title: Kiss Me Before It Blows Up) is a German–Israeli movie from the year 2020 directed and scripted by Venezuelan-born, Israel-raised and German-based Shirel Peleg.[1] The story is based on the true-life love story of Peleg and her partner[2][3] and is Peleg’s debut feature-length film as a director.[4]

The film is about an Israeli woman named Shira (played by Moran Rosenblat), and a German woman named Maria (played by Luise Wolfram), who, through an initial misunderstanding, become engaged to be married in Jerusalem. Shira’s grandmother, Berta (played by Rivka Michaeli), tries to prevent this. Kiss Me Kosher started in German cinemas on September 10, 2020, and has since played in several international film festivals.

Plot

While on vacation in Israel, Maria, a German biologist, meets the bar owner Shira and falls head over heels in love with her. Shortly after the end of the vacation, Maria decides to stay in Israel and move in with Shira when a misunderstanding happens. Shira believes she is being given a wedding proposal. Various complications arise, not only about the initial mistaken engagement but also the fact that some members of Shira’s family (especially her grandmother Berta) oppose her marrying a German.

After hearing about the engagement, Maria’s parents soon appear in Israel, and two different family worlds collide in Jerusalem.

Premise

Flora, a single mother living in Dublin, is having trouble with her estranged son Max, a rebellious teenage petty thief. Encouraged by the Gardaí to find Max a hobby, Flora rescues an old guitar from a skip and, with the help of a Los Angeles-based online guitar teacher, discovers that one person’s rubbish can be another person’s salvation.[3][4]

Hewson could play the guitar before they made the film and said all the singing she does on screen is her. She told The Hollywood Reporter although she had to overcome a “massive, massive fear” of singing in the film, she never turned to her father (musician Bono) for musical tips: “I’d rather sing in front of the entire world.”[9]
