Premise

Years after retiring from the Army, former Special Forces operator Mason Pettits takes a job providing security for journalist Claire Wellington as she interviews Juan Venegas, president of Paldonia. When a military coup breaks out in the middle of the interview, the three are forced to escape into the jungle together.

Premise

Set in the early 1970s, the film follows Paul Hunham, a disliked teacher at Barton Academy, who’s responsible for supervising students who are unable to return home for the Christmas holidays. During this process, Hunham is forced to deal with one particularly rebellious but troubled student, Angus, who is grieving the loss of his father.

The Killer premiered at the 80th Venice International Film Festival on September 3, 2023,[3] and is scheduled for a limited theatrical release on October 27, 2023, before streaming on November 10, 2023, by Netflix.
