GHOST ELEPHANTS

Ghost Elephants is a 2025 American documentary film directed by Werner Herzog. It follows Steve Boyes, a South African naturalist, in his search for what he believes is an undiscovered species of African elephant on Angola’s highland plateau.[1] The film had its world premiere at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on August 28, 2025.[2]

In August 2025, National Geographic Documentary Films acquired the world streaming rights to the film, and it will be globally available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu in 2026.[3][4]

Release

Ghost Elephants was presented in Features at the Vienna International Film Festival on October 18, 2025.[5] It screened in the Masters section of the Stockholm International Film Festival on November 6, 2025.[6] The UK premiere was at the Leeds International Film Festival on November 14, 2025.[7]

TWENTY ONE PILOTS – MORE THAN WE EVER IMAGINED

Twenty One Pilots is an American musical duo from Columbus, Ohio. The group was formed in 2009 by lead vocalist Tyler Joseph, along with Nick Thomas and Chris Salih, who both left in 2011. Since their departure, the lineup has consisted of Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun. The duo is best known for their singles “Stressed Out,” “Ride,” and “Heathens,” which achieved commercial success between 2015 and 2016. The duo received a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards for “Stressed Out.”

The band independently released two albums, Twenty One Pilots (2009) and Regional at Best (2011), before being signed by record label Fueled by Ramen in 2012. Their label debut, Vessel (2013), became the second album in history on which every track received at least a gold certification.

The duo achieved breakthrough success with their fourth album, Blurryface (2015), which produced the hit singles “Stressed Out” and “Ride” and became the first album on which every track received at least a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. The release of “Heathens” also made the group the first alternative artist in history to have two concurrent top-five singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and the third rock act to have two singles simultaneously charting in the top five of the Hot 100, joining the Beatles and Elvis Presley.

The duo has released four more studio albums: Trench (2018), Scaled and Icy (2021), Clancy (2024), and Breach (2025). They have also garnered 13 number-one songs on the Alternative Airplay chart, tying with Green Day for the third-most.[2][3]

Midwinter Break is an upcoming drama film directed by Polly Findlay. The film is based on the 2017 novel of the same name by Bernard MacLaverty and follows a couple’s trip to Amsterdam that stirs up memories of the past.

When Stella surprises Gerry with a Christmas present of a trip to Amsterdam, it’s easy to see that she has an agenda, but he seems not to notice. Without melodrama, she makes the monologue so genuine that you can feel the weight. Stella has carried it around all those years, and it has haunted her, which is why she wants to make a change now.

The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on 20 February 2026 and in the United Kingdom on 20 March.

EPIC: ELVIS PRESLEY IN CONCERT

EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert is a 2025 documentary film about Elvis Presley directed by Baz Luhrmann.[4][1] It is a follow-up to Luhrmann’s 2022 biographical film Elvis.

EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2025.[4][5] It received positive reviews from critics.

The film had its first advanced U.S. screenings at Presley’s former mansion, Graceland, on January 8, 2026, which would have been his 91st birthday.[6] It will then be released exclusively in IMAX theaters beginning on February 20, 2026, before opening to the general public one week later on February 27, 2026.[7]

The film stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, respectively, alongside Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell in supporting roles.

Wuthering Heights isn’t a love story that will have you giddy with joy. It tells the story of a passionate and destructive love, consumed by rage and revenge.

Set in the early 1800s, Mr. Earnshaw returns home to his children, son Hindley and daughter Catherine, with orphan boy Heathcliff. Initially, Catherine loathed Heathcliff but grew infatuated with him as a teenager.

But their relationship becomes more complicated years later.

Wuthering Heights premiered at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on January 28, 2026, and will be released in theaters by Warner Bros. Pictures on February 13. The film has received positive reviews from critics.

GOAT

Goat was being developed by 2019 and announced in May 2024, with most of the cast being announced in June 2025. It had an early IMAX screening on February 7, 2026, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 13, 2026, by Sony Pictures Releasing.

Plot

In Vineland, Will Harris aspires to be like his idol, Jett Fillmore, a roarball player for the Thorns. 10 years after being taken to his first roarball game, the Thorns have not won a game all season, with Jett asking the team owner, Florence Everson, to do whatever she can to make the team better. While trying to find money to pay for rent, Will faces off against Mane Attraction, the lead player of the Magma. Though he has an early start, Will loses, and his apartment space is taken, causing him to crash with his friend, Daryl.

The next morning, a video of him breaking Mane’s ankles starts trending, and Flo signs him on the Thorns, much to the ire of Jett. Will is introduced by coach Dennis to the team: Archie, Lenny, Modo, and Olivia. He is placed on the bench for a few games, but when Jett has a technical foul, he scores the winning point, giving the Thorns their first win and the respect of most of his teammates. While filming a promotional video, Jett leaves the shoot, with Will taking her to the diner he used to work at. The owner of the diner, Carol, makes Jett promise to bring home the Claw for Vineland. He tells her about how his mom told him to dream big before she passed away years later. That night, she goes on a livestream with Mane and defends her team. She allows Dennis to actually coach the team again, and they go on a winning streak, ending up in the playoffs.

Before the semifinal match, Florence tells Jett that the team has been sold, everyone will be cut, and that she will never win a Claw. The team start off poorly, and in the final quarter, Will tells them what he overheard, while Jett starts hogging the ball. Though the Thorns win, everyone on the team quits due to Jett’s selfishness. Before the finals, Jett apologizes to Will, admitting she was scared. With his help, they get the team back together and face off against the Magma. During the game, Mane causes Jett to get a possibly career-ending injury. When she gets back out on the court, she is applauded by everyone. During the final quarter, Archie gets an ejection after defending Will from Mane. Jett decides to step back in, and with a few seconds left, Will makes the winning shot. The team celebrates, while Mane loses his hair and Flo is chased off the field.

Back in Vineland, the Thorns celebrate with the Claw, where Modo reveals that he bought the team, allowing them to stay.

NEW MOVIES: Feb 5-11, 2026, “Buffalo Kids,” “Dracula: A Love Story,” “Solo Mio,” “Still Hope”

BUFFALO KIDS

Buffalo Kids is a 2024 Spanish animated adventure film directed by Pedro Solís and Juan Galocha.

Plot

Set in the 19th century, the plot follows the adventures of two orphaned Irish siblings (Tom and Mary) who emigrate to the United States to reunite with their uncle Niall in New York City.[2][3][4] When Niall doesn’t show up at the docks, Tom and Mary set out to find him with the company of a stray dog, Sparky, sneaking on board a train with a group of orphans when they cannot afford a ticket. During the journey, Mary befriends non-verbal paraplegic boy Nick, who is rejected from his initial possible family due to his disability. The orphans’ supervisor, Eleanor, learns of their circumstances and assures them she won’t give them away to the train staff.

When the train stops to refuel, Mary takes Nick off the train to touch the nearby buffalo, but the train departs without them on board as everyone else in the carriage was asleep. Tom is able to get a nearby cart in working order and travel after the train, but they find it deserted after an apparent Indian attack. The children have a close call with a pack of coyotes that leaves Tom with an injured leg, and when they stop to collect water, they are captured by an Indian tribe. However, the tribe proves to be friendly and affirms that they had nothing to do with the train attack.

Tom, Mary, and Nick are eventually led to another group of white men, but these men turn out to be the bandits responsible for attacking the train, having taken the passengers as slave labor to work in a mine. When the children are reunited with the orphans and Eleanor, one of the other prisoners is revealed to be Tom and Mary’s uncle Niall, who was captured from another train.

Tom, Mary, and Nick manage to escape the mine and contact a nearby fortress for help and the Indian tribe. The two groups work together to stage an assault and rescue the prisoners before the bandits can destroy the now-depleted mine to cover up their actions. Niall, Tom, and Mary agree to remain a family, and Eleanor not only joins them but also invites Nick to come along.

DRACULA: A LOVE STORY

Dracula (developed with the working title Dracula: A Love Tale) is a 2025 English-language French Gothic[5] romantic fantasy film,[6] written and directed by Luc Besson, based on the 1897 novel Dracula by Bram Stoker. It stars Caleb Landry Jones as the eponymous character, alongside Christoph Waltz and Zoë Bleu. It was theatrically released in France on 30 July 2025, by SND, and is scheduled for a wide theatrical release in North America on 6 February 2026.[7][8]

Plot

Prince Vladimir of Wallachia renounces God and becomes Dracula after the death of his wife, Elisabeta, during a battle with the Ottomans. Over the centuries, Dracula attempts to track down the reincarnation of his wife, creating vampiric agents to assist in his search and developing a perfume designed to lure women to him.

Four hundred years later, while negotiating a real estate transaction with the Parisian solicitor Jonathan Harker, Dracula discovers that Harker’s fiancée, Mina, is the reincarnation he seeks. After imprisoning Harker in his castle, Dracula reinvigorates himself with the blood of nuns and heads to Paris in time for the centenary of the French Revolution. With the help of Maria, one of his vampiric followers, Dracula tracks Mina down, destroys the perfume, reminds her of her past life as Elisabeta, and takes her back to Wallachia, where she begs him to turn her into a vampire so she can live eternally by his side.

An expeditionary force led by an unnamed priest and Harker lays siege to Dracula’s castle. During the battle, Dracula is confronted by the priest, who urges him to repent of his ways or risk condemning Mina to eternal damnation. Dracula allows himself to be staked by the priest and disintegrates in Mina’s arms after declaring his love for her.
